I did leave it running, hoping to be better than last year, when it was almost every day I was over watering. I hear you on the water bill!

The garden is so-so. It's badly over grown with weeds but I can't get the time to get out there, and they've choked out the peas. The lettuce went to seed (but grew very well before it did LOL), as did the spinach. All the red potatoes have died, I can't figure it out. The green beans and russet potatoes are doing very well. I can't see how the cucumbers are faring with all the weeds. Tomatoes are doing ok, but no where near as good as they were last year.

Between not weeding, not using bug killer (nematodes and diatomaceous earth) and not using Earth Juice, it's really effected how the garden is doing. It just can't handle this much neglect, at least not to produce like it did last year.

Hi Amy, Did you leave the hose running? I can't tell you how many times I've done this. Our water bill is high enough without my absentmindedness raising it higher.

So how IS your garden, besides wet? We've had some awesome weather--finally. I do very little vegetable gardening and now I remember why. Something invisible is eating the leaves on my pole beans. Pisses me off.

I'll keep a lookout for further rants! We're all in this together.
