Itty Bitty green pepper and Ginormous zuccs

How do you shorten zucchini properly? Zuck? (that sounds like duck) Zook? Maybe, looks alien though. I’ll stick with zucc until I get a professional opinion.

Anywho, I bring you: one tiny green pepper:

He needs eyes I think.

2 of the zucchinis are the size of a mini baseball bat I have, but thicker. They’re going to be full baseball bat size here soon…

I love zucchini! I prefer it (raw) in a tossed salad over cucumber. Yum. And kudos on the pepper – I hope to have some shortly. :)

I think I’ve seen ‘zuke’ somewhere (but I still think of them as courgettes, so am not qualified to offer an informed opinion!).

I always shorten it like I do cucumbers. Cukes and zukes.

I think your pepper needs eyes too and a big mouth. It reminds me of the plant from the little shop of horrors. I can just see him talking to you.

Call it a courgette and put on a slight french accent.

It sounds nicer and you save one syllable. :-)

I think Zook bread is in your future!
