jaz - I'll have to read up on the sunlight thing, I didn't even think about that. The window only gets about 3 hours of direct sunlight, I wonder if that little bit is too much? Thanks for the tip!

James - my thyme, oregano and basil are like your parsley. I finally gave up on them, and it sucks cause those are the 3 I used most! I rarely use parsley :lol

Mrs. Greenhands - that is an excellent tip and yes, my parsley has been falling out of the loops because they are of course too big now :lol Definitely a learning experience!

Thanks Cindy, I thought it looked much better then the valance I had in that window. :)

Hi - I'm new to your site, but I like what I see! I dry parsley the same way you do, but I use recycled rubber bands because they allow for shrinkage of the stems.

I'll be checking back in!

herbs shouldn't be dried in the sun. they will loose a lot of their oils and health benefits. Try a nice airy *shaded* place in your house.

Seeing your parsley makes ours look like a joke... and with the heat a few weeks ago - ours has shriveled up and is on the verge of death. Vurge... verge... whatever.

Looks awesome. Nice work.
