My garden map keeps evolving the further along I go. Without much prior experience, it kind of has to. The off white areas are where nothing will be planted and/or are walkways. I planned on 2 types of corn, but after researching, I don’t have the space to keep them from cross pollinating, so it’ll be just the one.
My to do list, if the weather holds long enough (due to start raining in the afternoon): Transplant everything that’s ready – roma and beefsteak tomatoes, all the herbs, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, and onions. The lettuce isn’t ready…the spinach is doing poorly and I’ll probably direct sow more. Direct sow: Zucchini, squash, beets, carrots, corn, rosemary, spinach. Also need to buy Lemon Cucumber seeds and plant them. Cover with grass clippings (maybe some of the blank news paper we got for packing that we now don’t need), this will be my mulch for now.
I need to find a source for Territorial Seed’s fertilizer.
